Step-by-Step: How to Make Your Cascading Hearts Card

1. Cut Your Pieces

  • Load the Easy Valentine’s Day Cricut Card SVG into Design Space.
  • Select your card stock colors. Scrap paper works great for the hearts on this design.
  • Cut the cascading heart layers and base (or use a precut base).

2. Arrange the Layers

  • Start with the bottom heart and overlap them slightly for a cascading effect.
  • Follow the design so that each heart’s edges touch slightly to create flow.

3. Add Dimension

  • Use double-sided tape for some layers and foam squares for others to create depth.
  • Stack a second foam square for the top heart to give even more height.

4. Stamp or Embellish

  • Add a stamped message, handwrite a note, or use patterned paper or washi tape for extra creativity on your card.

5. Finish with Twine

  • Tie a small bow with baker’s twine for a fun touch.
  • Trim excess twine to keep it neat.

Pro Tip: This design works great with faux leather, shimmer paper, or even fabric-infused materials for a unique look.
