Resizing and Customizing Your Envelope in Cricut Design Space

When you upload your files you’ll want to pick the SVG for Cricut and the DXF for Silhouette machines.

In the design software (I’ll show you in Design Space) be sure to change the cut lines to fold for best results.

You can easily resize the envelope layer to fit any card or gift. Here’s how:

1. Measure your card or item, then adjust the envelope size in your design software.

2. To make things easier, create a sample card or item in Cricut Design Space and match the envelope size.

3. In the Layers Panel, you’ll also see where to adjust the score lines (or fold lines). If you don’t have a scoring tool, simply hide these lines and fold by hand.

For an extra touch, create a cute envelope liner! Cut patterned paper slightly smaller than the main piece, and adhere it to the inside flap with double-sided tape. This adds a pop of color, especially when hand-delivering your cards.

You can use this SVG with any materials you have on hand—cardstock, kraft paper, or even foil papers for a high-end look.
