I’m thankful for free SVGs, how about you? haha. So this post is all about free Thankful SVGs!

It’s funny cause it’s true! Us crafters love free SVGs, and if you keep reading you’ll find a list of other thankful-themed designs you can download for free. Meanwhile, let’s create this easy and cute burlap decor item.

Free Thankful Sign DIY Idea

If you are looking for a quick DIY for your house you can always grab the PDF and print it out on nice paper and use it in your home. If you’re like me you already have a cute frame somewhere. I love to use printable canvas paper and it’s so cute and looks crafty without any effort!

Supplies

• Burlap paper or canvas
• Vinyl in 1 or 2 colors. I used 2 with iron-on vinyl
• Frame, shadow box, or canvas
• Ribbon and Flowers (optional)
• Grateful, Thankful, Blessed FREE SVG

Iron On Vinyl

I love the iron on vinyl by ImPRESSED Vinyl. It weeds so nice and has these handy packages to store your colors. Plus the instructions and temp info is on the back.

I went with white and brown for this one. Added a pop of color for this Free Thankful SVG and added a yellow sunflower I had in my craft room.

I put the leaves a different place from my original design, cause I’m crafty like that. haha.

I pressed my vinyl all at once. Be sure to trim the transfer sheets so its not overlapping. You can see the leaves and the F on THANKFUL were overlapping. I trimmed the leaves before I pressed them.

Here is a close up the texture after pressing it onto the burlap. I think it looks more silk screened this way for the leaves.

Add some embellishments!

Next I added some ribbon. I went with a burlap color and white to accent the words. I used 2 glue dots to adhere it in place. This ribbon was from Hobby Lobby and yep, I used my 40% off coupon in their app.

I have this 12×12″ shadowbox frame in my studio. I usually display Scrapbook pages in it but this felt a cute addition to showcase some fall.
