Mother’s Day Gift Guide

What is a great gift idea for mom?

I’m sure you are thinking IDK, that’s why I’m reading this! I’m going to encourage you to look around her home and think about what she talks about. What is she making? What does she post pics of (or share pics of) on her social media?

Start by asking what does your mom like to craft? Look at her craft room. Do you see a sewing machine? Cricut machine or Silhouette Cameo? Maybe some paint and some canvases?

Keep in mind what you’ve noticed when you run through these questions below to pick the perfect mother’s day gift.

1. What are her favorite colors?
2. Do you see her carrying a tote bags all the time with crafts or books inside?
3. What does always talk about enjoying? … Coffee? Tea? Wine? Eating Out?
4. What is she posting or sharing? (Sewing Kit things? Painting Ideas? Cricut Project Ideas?)

Take the answers from above and add them to these simple items for the perfect gift idea:

This will make it easier for you if you can pick one of these to define your mom or wife.

All Around DIY Addict / Crafter: She makes, bakes, and creates just about anything from home decor, to scrapbook pages, and graphic tees. She probably loves to learn a new craft like sewing, knitting or watercolor painting. Look for similar things, but maybe new color schemes or something new to stretch her creativity kits are a fun idea.

Decor Crafter: This one usually does a DIY to decorate her home. A fun sign, a seasonal wreath… She has a love for holidays and her house always lets you know what season or holiday is coming up next. Watch for items that accent what she has already in place, or inspires her to create more! The tray below is a great idea for a craft supply organizer.

Business Crafter: This mom is creating and selling lots of what she makes. She’s a maker, an entrepreneur, or a creative•preneur. Look for ways to support her business adventure, our planner or a cute boss mug are good ideas.

This is me (well all of these are) but this is my passion. This is what drives me, so I find this one easy. And bonus, I have a few options on our site here to help you shop for mom.
