3 Simple Steps to Make a Coffee Emergency Shadow Box:

1. Download the FREE SVG Coffee Emergency file

2. Upload the FREE SVG Coffee Emergency file into Cricut® Design Space

*Be sure to click the “Attach Button” before cutting. This will keep the letters in place on the mat when you click the cut button. if you want to do a 2 color design this is where you can edit the colors. Here’s a post on changing colors in Design Space on your SVG to help.Cricut Design Space Coffee Emergency

You can break them apart and do more than one color if you want at this step. I cut mine all in one color, mint for this project.

3. How to Assemble Your Coffee Emergency Shadow Box

Apply the vinyl to the glass. I added min on the outside. The beans were vanilla flavored and a wet-ish feel. So I didn’t want that to mess up the vinyl.

As an accent, I added a mint-colored paper to the backing and taped it in so it wouldn’t move.

Next, fill with your coffee beans (I tipped mine to the side). I think it helped accent the text I added to the front. And that is it!

As I mentioned — it was so easy. Perfect project for a Cricut DIY beginner!

LOVE that color of vinyl! I ordered this color online and it was: Oracal 631 Mint. This vinyl is so pretty! I need to order more because I want to cut my “Gather” SVG for my dining room area in that color too. Once you start using your Cricut to decorate, you can’t stop! haha. Maybe that’s just me…

I put my vinyl on the outside of the glass. The coffee beans I had on hand were vanilla-scented, and they were a little sticky, so I didn’t want it on the vinyl inside. I made mine to go in my dining room/kitchen next to my grandmother’s old teacups. They make me smile when I see them thinking of her.

I might have gone through a coffee phase. Drink it or hang it…. LOL!
